I love you, Doris! I was so honored to meet you and get to know you! My son Jesse and I enjoyed having time with you this summer before you flew to your forever home with Jesus! I can still see your sweet, sweet smile and your twinkling eyes -- I love your beautiful eyes -- so full of love and kindness! We loved your laugh, too!! Sweet memories -- how they linger! I loved singing with you! Thank you for your legacy of faith and love and for giving me my best and forever friend your sweet precious daughter Diana. I bet you are having fun with Jesus and our Lord God! You are a beautiful woman and a child of the King of Kings! Praise God you are alive forever!! Your forever friends, Jamie and Jesse
PS I wrote a poem in honor of your memory and for my dearest, bestest, and sweetest friends in Texas -- the Armstrong family! I watched them love you and take care of you and that was the most precious gift I have ever been given in this life! To truly see what God has called us to do in His word and the Armstrong family did that! They truly loved their mama with Jesus's 'real' love!
