

As a military wife, Eunia traveled extensively. She lived in Europe before returning to the United States where she lived in El Campo, San Antonio, Houston, and finally, Bryan. With her military background she was a perfect fit for the community. Her many activities included the American Legion Auxiliary, Mended Hearts and Brazos Belles Red Hat Society. Her greatest legacy was her wonderful sense of humor, laughter, and love and support of her family and friends.
Eunia was born on March 11, 1926 to Howard and Stella O'Rear in Sulphur Springs, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy Shultz Sr.; brother, Alfred O'Rear; and daughter, Edith Marjorie Richter.
She is survived by daughter Janet and son-in-law Mike Higgins of College Station; son Roy Shultz of Houston; grandchildren Kim and husband Paul Galvin, Nanci Brunet, Alyssa and husband Jason Payne, Andrew and wife Kim Shultz,; Amy Shultz and fiancée Coe Sperry; seven great grandchildren, Sean Brunet, Brennan and Katelyn Galvin; Abbigail and Grayson Shultz; Arabella and Jackson Payne. Survivors also include nephew Max O'Rear and wife Barbara and an extended family of Guillermo and Carmen Tirado and children Ricardo, Angel, Cecila, and Pancho.
The family would like to thank her wonderful caregivers Wally Rose, Sissy Hunter, Linda Manuel, Mickey Miskimen, Beth Morgan, Lucia Adams and Brazos Valley Hospice. A special thanks to all her loving and supportive friends.
