

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
Glendore was born September 8, 1936 in Houston the son of Theodore and Nellie (Bosley) Hyden. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army Reserves for eight years. Glendore worked in the maintenance Department as maintenance supervisor for Texas A&M University for 26 years. He enjoyed cattle ranching; he raised his cattle on his properties in Madison, Grimes and Brazos counties. After sometime, he let go of the other properties but kept his cattle here in Brazos County, and enjoyed sitting on his back porch watch his cows and being outdoors. Glendore was a member of the Texas Southwest Cattle Raisers Association.
Glendore is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joyce Hyden; and a sister, Vernell Dudose.
He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Robinson and husband Mark of College Station, Jennifer Whiffen of Dallas; sisters, Mary Louise Williams and Ila Grant both College Station; brother, David Hyden of College Station; grandchildren, Kristi Neff Kipp, Lauren Robinson, Lance Robinson, Shelby Robinson, Megan Whiffen and Christopher Whiffen; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Meghan Kipp.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
