Hubert "Huby" William Hearne III

Hubert “Huby” William Hearne III, 46, passed away Friday May 8 after an eleven month battle with kidney cancer, he is now in heaven in the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ and is no longer in pain.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday May 15 at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery in Burleson County. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.

Huby was born June 12, 1968 in Bryan. He was an athlete and graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in 1987, and went on to play football at the University of North Texas in Denton. Huby was a gentle giant, wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole; daughters, Ashlie, Haley and Emily; grandson, Hunter; mother, Connie Pittman and husband Larry; father, Hubert “Sonny” Hearne Jr.; sister, Jennifer Macfadyen and husband Ross; and numerous other family members.

There will be a benefit for Huby on Saturday May 16 from 12:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Bee Creek Park.
