Thanks for all your assistance in turf-related questions I asked you Dr. Jim....you will be missed I am sure in the turf business here in Texas for sure!!!!

Jim made training fun back in the Chemlawn days,you always had good time when he came to do a class and learned a lot. Great guy.

Jim was such a great person to know. I always learned something new every time I heard him speak at the CEU class or just talking to him one on one. We all will miss him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jim was a great trainer and mentor to me in my lawn care career. He will be dearly missed.

My heart goes out to the family. A man of Jim's character only comes along every once in a while. He was a man with much knowledge about turf grass and was not greedy with it. He shared a lifetime of know how each time he was called with any kind of problem. His core boots (or shoes) will be filled in time, but it will take a long time. 
Heaven just turned green.

My favorite memories of Mr. McAfee center around Jimmy Buffett concerts and tailgating. What a wonderful husband and father who was so incredibly loved. Thank you, McAfee family, for sharing him with us.

Dr. McAfee made a difference in so many ways. He helped me become better at what I do, he was approachable and kind, yet willing to challenge me. He had a true passion for helping others and teaching us all he could.  He helped create today's leaders and for that I have been truly blessed to have known him. I am truly saddened by the news of Jim's passing. I was so privileged to have him as a mentor and resource for so many years. What a wonderful and patient teacher.
