Janet Heath

Janet Elaine Heath was born in Clifton, Texas to W. H. Wilkerson an Arnell Coe on February 4, 1954. The beloved daughter, wife, mother and grandmother passed on August 27, 2023, and her love and compassion for others touched many lives.

On June 2, 1972, she married Charles “Mike” Heath, whom she loved for forty-seven years. They lived in Whitney, TX for a few years before permanently moving to College Station in 1977. During their relationship, they brought into the world and raised two strong-willed, independent daughters and their three grandchildren.

Janet dedicated her life to shaping young minds in her day care, preparing them for school and life. If you went into her home, there was always laughter, hugs, and child-like chaos, with children playing, singing, running, and creativity. Her patience and love for so many children were God’s greatest gift, and she impacted so many lives.

Janet leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Roseanna and Jennifer; granddaughter, Helena Rose; and grandsons, Christopher Antonio and William Alexander; and numerous other family members.
