Lillie Berniece Gossett

Jo Gossett was born in Denton County, Texas February 24, 1926. On December 9, 1950. she married the love of her life, Edgar Forrest Gossett. They were happily married until his passing in 2015. Lillie's life centered around her husband and children. She enjoyed music, photography, reading and interior design. She had a deep and abiding faith in Christ and passed that faith to her four children.

Jo is preceded in death by her husband, Ed Gossett; her sisters, Marie Williams, Charlene Richards, Berta Farr, Joyce Lynch and two grandchildren.

Jo is survived by one sister Faye Hughes of Denton, Texas and one brother and sister-in-law, C.L. and Nancy Yeatts of Denton, Texas; four children, David Gossett and wife Shiela of Judsonia, Arkansas, Annette Zamora of San Antonio, Texas, Jeannie Kirkpatrick and husband Paul of Midland, Texas, Steve Gossett and wife Sandra of College Station, Texas. Jo is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held December 28, 2016.
