Lucille D. Rivera (Ramirez) was born on December 13, 1955 in North Platte, Nebraska to Nancy and Ruben Rivera.
Her mother Nancy raised her in North Platte with her six siblings, Rosie, Gloria, Ruben, Patricia, William, and Antonia. Lucille was blessed with four children Joe, Jolene, Jerecho, and Lariesa.
She was a two-time cancer survivor and a woman of faith. She loved God, her family and all she met. She was especially proud of her children and grandchildren and was always there to support them with love, prayer, and her time. She had a servant’s heart and her greatest joy was helping others in this life. Her faith in God was an inspiration and blessing to all that crossed her path and her legacy will live on through all she loved.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy and Ruben Rivera, and sister Rosie Vieyra.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Joe Rivera III, Jerecho Rivera, and Lariesa Orta of College Station, Texas; daughter, Jolene Kollman of Cedar Park, Texas; grandchildren, Devon Rivera of Waco, Texas, Logan Rivera of Bryan, Texas, Julian Rivera, of San Antonio, Texas, Grace Kollman of Cedar Park, Texas, Cruz and Gabriel Orta of Bryan, Texas; brothers, Ruben Rivera of McPherson, Kansas, William Rivera of Lincoln, Nebraska; sisters, Gloria Mata, of Lexington, Nebraska, Patricia Lozano and Antonia Sanchez, of Omaha, Nebraska; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A special acknowledgement to Joe Rivera III, who cared for his mother with the Lord’s love in her final days.
