Mary Ellis

Mary was a loving mother to three sons John Ellis and wife Sharon Ellis, Richard Ellis, Robert Ellis and a grandmother to 8 grandchildren Destiny and Ben from Lockport New York, Michelle Ellis from Dayton Texas, David and Sam Ellis from Corpus Christi, Ryan and Sara Ellis from AZ, Richard and Misty Estrada from Washington, Mark and Mandy Ellis from Washington, Mike Ellis from Washington, Chance Ellis from Caldwell Texas and many great grandchildren nieces and nephews and a brother Arthur and Elaine Gregory from Fort Worth Texas .

She is preceded in death her late husband Richard Ellis; brother, Roger Gregory; and sister, Priscilla Cockran.

Mary was born in Corpus Christi Texas and settled in Deridder Louisiana. She was strong woman of faith,a devoted Christian, and a preacher's wife. Mary married Richard on October the 3rd in 1955 and was married for 59 wonderful years.

A visitation for Mary will be held Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapel - College Station, 2901 Texas Avenue South, College Station, Texas 77845. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Chapel - College Station. Mary will be laid to rest with her husband at the Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial in Houston Texas on Tuesday June the 4th at 11:00 am.
