Mary Murphy, 63, of College Station passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2026. Born December 28, 1962 in Houston, TX, she was the daughter of the late Grady D. Hazelwood and Cecilia Elliott Hazelwood. She lived in Madisonville and Midway, TX for several years moving to College Station in 2023. Mary was employed as a crew member at Planet Fitness. Mary was bubbly, kind, caring, a firecracker, fiercely independent and occasionally stubborn. She was devoted to her family and loved her grandsons tremendously. Mary is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Zack and Jessica Murphy; her grandsons, Bryson and Jaxon; her sister, Sue; her brother, Grady; several nephews and a niece including Cole, Chad, and Cristal; as well as extended family and friends Mary impacted along her life’s journey. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at a later date.
