Mary M. Wolters

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time Saturday at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at College Station Cemetery.

Mickey was born November 16, 1923 in McKinney the daughter of John and Mildred (Duer) Ray. She married Freddie Wolters on February 28, 1944. Mickey was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Bryan, the Women’s Club, the Garden Club, College Station Noon Lions Club and served as past president of the Girl’s Club. She enjoyed crafting and was an exceptional seamstress. She was currently a member of the College Station Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Mickey is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Freddie Wolters; and a brother, John Thomas Ray.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Timmy and Karen Wolters of College Station; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamala Boyd of Glen Cove, NY, Deiadra and John Stevenson of Dripping Springs; Deborah and Tom McIntyre of Salem, MO; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Edith Ray of Bryan; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
