It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mia Julianna Williams. Mia passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, due to a brain bleed from an unforeseeable brain tumor. She was 17 years old. Mia was born on November 29, 2004, to parents John and Lindsay (Ferrante) Williams, in Sarasota, Florida.
Mia was bright, ambitious, caring, tender-hearted, sweet, and pure. She touched the lives of so many and accomplished so much during her short time with us. Mia loved drawing and horseback riding. She also loved reading and school but most of all her friends. She attended Cy-Ranch High School in Cypress, Texas, where she was to have graduated with honors class of 2023. There, she was a member of the Texas Science Olympiad team and was awarded medals for her academic achievements. Mia also enjoyed being in the French club. She studied hard and planned big things for the future ahead. Words cannot express how dearly she is loved by family and friends. She graced our lives with poise, personality, and promise. Mia’s beautiful memory will live on eternally in the hearts and minds of the countless people who loved her. Taken too soon, she will be forever missed.
Every single day of her life has been a gift from God and our help in this time of grief, comes from Him. She is survived by her mother, Lindsay, her father, John Williams, her half-siblings, Alexus Acosta and Sebastian Hartley, and her beloved grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A visitation for Mia will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station, Texas 77845, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 2:00pm. All are welcome. As vibrant and full of life as Mia was, she would want those who attend to wear the color of their choice. After the service, Mia will be laid to rest at Old Bethel Cemetery.
