Michael "Mike" Goldwater

Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station, TX on Sunday evening, September 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 29th at the A&M United Methodist Church, College Station, TX.

Mike was born in Lubbock, TX on October 22, 1945 to Johnnie and Marcillee Bowers Goldwater. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1971. Mike retired from Texas A&M University after twenty nine years of service. At the time of retirement, in January, 2003, he was the Assistant Director of Facilities Maintenance and Construction.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie and Marcillee Bowers Goldwater. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Sue (Winegar) Goldwater; two sons and daughters-in-laws, Wayne and Kerrie Goldwater of Stagecoach, TX and Jason and Belinda Goldwater of Kingwood, TX; four grandchildren, Jacob, Wesley, Mason, and Autumn; two brothers, Joe Goldwater of Longview, TX and Marion Goldwater of Hobbs, New Mexico; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Max and Alice Winegar of Aledo, TX and Roy and Louise Winegar of the The Colony, TX and numerous other family and friends.
