

She was born to the late G.G. Trotter and Sarah Rambo Trotter, March 19, 1920, in White Rock, Texas. Mildred graduated from White Rock High School. She then attended and received a Certificate of Completion from Business School in Dallas. For the next five years she was a bookkeeper for Sears in Dallas. She married the late John Hervey Williams in 1946 and they lived together in Dallas, TX; before relocating to Bryan in 1950.
Mildred owned and operated a day care center, where she proudly cared for children whose parents were attending Texas A&M. She retired in 1967. She was passionate about cooking and serving the public and found an outlet for both as a waitress for Clayton's Restaurant and later for Youngbloods Restaurant. She made many life-long friends at both establishments.
She was preceded in death by her parents, all 13 siblings, and her great grandson Robert Patterson.
She is survived by her three children and their spouses: Willie (Bill) and Debbie Williams, Sharon and Russ Welch and Charlotte Holder and Ralph Stephens, Grandchildren Rick Wolfe, Roxanne and Terra Williams, Tina Thompson, Rob Herrmann, Marty Easterling, 12 great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild, Villi Boren. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff and residents of St. Joseph Manor Nursing Home; and acknowledge our mother's special friends Mrs. E. Hines and Mrs. S. Brown.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery of College Station. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
