Peggy J Watson

Peggy was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and unwavering faith in God. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and many whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Peggy found joy in preparing meals, finding and making gifts to celebrate seasons, birthdays and anniversaries. She had a knack for making and finding the perfect gift and it was important to her to attend all birthdays, graduations and celebrations both near and far. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She especially loved doing all the things at the beach.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Billy Lynn Watson.

Peggy is survived by one sister, Shirley Byrne; two brother in laws, Kenny Watson and Larry Watson, sister in law Sandy Jones; three children, Rick Watson, Kim Ward and Donny Watson; six grandchildren, Nicole Watson, Cassy Watson, Dylan Ward, Emily Ward, Gracie Ward and Billy Lynn Watson the second; three great grandchildren; Raymond Diaz-Watson, Adrien Diaz-Watson, Sophia Diaz-Watson; son in law, Mark Ward; daughter in law, Brandi Watson.

A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Visitation will take place Monday February 3rd at 5:30pm – 7:30pm & the memorial service will take place Tuesday February 4th at 11am.
