I don’t know who wrote his eulogy, but thank you! It brought back a lot of memories, that I had forgotten about.

Robert and I go waaaay back, at least 40 years. We had so many educating and fun times together over the decades. Over the years, I got to experience, most of the things mentioned in his eulogy! I remember many years, staying up most of the night, with he and Brant Camp, working the fireworks stands and, ooooh yes, I remember his bodily explosions, in a small 20’ camping trailer! I remember Robert always using the term “whiner” when discussing people complaining. Usually in reference to me.

One time, Robert picked me up, to take me to College Station, to visit Brant Camp and share in his graduation from TX A&M. Robert wanted me to experience the Aggies, but never clued me in on it! One night, Robert said, let’s go for a drive. He didn’t tell me anything else. I asked, but all he would say was, you’ll see. We drove to Aggie Stadium and parked. I asked again. He said, you’ll see. We walked up and sat in the stands and he said, you’ll see. A few minutes later, the entire Aggie band was playing for drill practice! I spent many weekends and week days up in Dallas, with Sylvia and their daughters. They were just little kids then. I would go up to Dallas often, as I was one of the carpet cleaning franchise owners, that Robert introduced me to. He would come down to SA often, to spend time with me, to help my franchise succeed. He was sooo generous with his time and always made me feel important to him. He truly cared about my success! God I miss him! He truly was a legend to me. He and I had just recently, in the last month, reconnected and he’s been sharing his expertise on trading on the Forex! I didn’t ask for it. He just wants the best for me and any way he can help, he will share, with no conditions. What a guy! So unselfish, such a kindred spirit, that, I will never be able to replace. Of that I am certain. My heart breaks.

Robert I don’t even know where to start. The life long lessons you have entailed into me will last for generations in my family. You may be gone but you will love on forever. Thank you for everything you have done for me and my family. I chose this picture because THIS IS part of your family. These boys and I were all taken upset your wing and we can never thank you enough. I love you brother...
