Rosemary Lee Lorigan Wells-Plotnik

Funeral mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday November 7 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday with a 7:00 p.m. vigil at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.

Rosemary was born July 20, 1947 in Toledo, OH. the daughter of William James and Rachael Marie (Hirning) Lorigan. She attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. A very creative person, Rosemary had a passion for making beautiful pottery and jewelry. Rosemary was a member and a greeter at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and volunteered for St. Vincent de Paul society.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband, James Plotnik of College Station; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney John and Jody Johnsonof Denver, CO.; son and daughter-in-law, Owen and Kate Wells of Apple Valley, MN.; stepson and daughter-in-law, Mike and Sarah Plotnik of Denver, CO.; mother, Rachael Lorigan of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Brian Reade of Houston; brothers and sister-in-law, Thomas J. Lorigan and Dorothy Mallory of San Jose, CA. and William Patrick Lorigan of Seattle, WA.; grandchildren, Maya Johnson, Liam Wells, Mac Wells and Oskar Plotnik; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
