A Celebration of Life for Sarah will be held Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
Sarah was born August 22, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She met and married James who was serving our country in the U.S. Air Force and becoming a military wife. Following him living in 38 states and 3 countries in just eleven short years. Sarah loved listening to music.
Sarah was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, James B. Shaffer; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Marelee Shaffer; daughter, Susan Shaffer; and her brother, Robert Pitt.
