She earned her bachelor’s degree in education from WGU. Savana was a teacher at Harmony Academy in Bryan, TX where she loved her job.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Joan Kershaw, as well as her paternal grandfather, Elbert Oberts. She is survived by her parents, Aaron and Cathy Oberts, her brother, Nicholas Oberts all of Somerville, TX, her aunt, Linda (Mark) Howland of Cape Girardeau, MO, her uncle, Daniel (Monika) Oberts of Caldwell, TX, her uncle, Philip (Laura) Oberts of Bastrop, TX, and her uncle Jim (Terri) Oberts of O’Fallon, IL. She is also survived by numerous extended aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Savana was a triple organ transplant recipient in August of 2016. Please consider being an organ donor in her honor.
Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 2901 Texas Avenue South, College Station, TX from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Saturday, November 7, 2026 followed by a celebration of life service at 3:00 pm with a reception following the service.
