Terrence Jamal Foy-Haley was born on September 27, 1991, in Houston, Texas. On May 27, 2026, at the age of 34, Terrence passed away in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by the love of family and friends who cherished him deeply.
Though Houston was where his story began, Terrence lived a life full of movement and adventure. From Huntsville, Shiro, San Antonio, Hondo, Angleton, Rosharon, Navasota, College Station, Cibolo, Austin, and to finally Schertz, Terrence never met a stranger. No matter where life took him, Terrence had a remarkable gift for building lasting friendships and meaningful connections. His warmth, authenticity, and kindness left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Terrence graduated from A&M Consolidated High School in May 2010 and quickly pursued one of his greatest passions—vehicles. He loved motorcycles, old trucks, nature, meditation, and traveling, always seeking the next road to explore and the next experience to embrace. Yet above all else, music was the heartbeat of his life. A gifted self-taught musician, Terrence poured his soul into every instrument he touched. Whether it was the acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele, piano, harmonica, or countless others, music was his language. But it was his voice that truly set him apart. Powerful, soulful, versatile, and filled with raw emotion, Terrence could bring life to any song and touch hearts with every note. His love for music was not just something he practiced—it was something he shared generously with the world. Those who were blessed to hear him sing will carry those memories forever.
Terrence will be remembered for so much more than his talents. He will be remembered for his radiant smile, his infectious laugh, his compassionate heart, and his unwavering love for those around him. His spirit brought comfort, joy, and light to countless lives, and his absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled.
Terrence was preceded in death by his father, Harold Haley; his grandparents, Albert Foy, Carrie Foy, and Hurshel Haley; and his cousin, Brion McCray.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Knawonna Haley; his brothers, Logan Haley and Mason Haley; his aunts, Apprille, Verletria, Xynthia, and Sheila; his uncle, Zalmega; his cousins, Zshanikwa, Rodrick, Brianna, Jamarron, Dante, Kaleb, Imani, Jaeren, and Cameron; his beloved girlfriend, Kendra; and her children, PJ and Kaila, whom he cared for deeply. He is also survived by countless great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, friends, classmates, and all those whose lives were forever touched by his kindness, friendship, and love.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the memories, music, laughter, and love Terrence leaves behind.
We love you, Terrence. We miss you beyond words, and we will carry you with us always.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station.
