

William J, Clark, 88, entered into rest on August 17, 2012 in College Station. A visitation is scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. A funeral service is scheduled from 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2815 Welsh Avenue, College Station, TX 77845. Interment will be later in the Morgan City Cemetery in Morgan, Utah.
Dr. Clark was born September 29, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Jesse and Louise Undine (Anderson) Clark. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the Marine Corps 4th regiment 6th Marine Division. After returning from the war, he completed his education receiving his Ph.D from Utah State University. Dr. Clark began teaching in the Biology Department at Texas A&M and remained at A&M throughout his career, retiring as professor of Wildlife Science.
Dr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary (Campbell) Clark, and a grandson. Aaron Clark.
Survivors include his sons, Howard William Clark and his wife Susan Jan Clark, Kenneth Campbell Clark and his wife Laura (Evins) Clark; grandchildren, Julie Stuart, Megan Neville, Shelley Smith, Marcy Clark, David Clark, Lisa Clark, Matthew Clark, and Rebecca Clark; great grandchildren, Clayton Stuart, Tyler Stuart, Audrey Stuart, Madeline Smith, Jackson Smith, William Clark, Neil Clark, Curtis Clark, and Quentin Clark.
