Aaron D. Miles

Aaron Douglas Miles passed away on Tuesday morning October 3, 2017 after a hard 5-day battle in the ICU with pneumonia that led to sepsis. Although his body could not endure the infection, his love & spirit continues to shine. Aaron was born on June 15, 1983 in Weatherford, OK to Douglas and Cindy Miles. Aaron loved his wife Emily and his entire family unconditionally. He had a heart of gold and was passionate about those whom he loved and cared for, both family and friends. He had a smile that would light up the room and was even nicknamed “Smiles” Miles by many. We are heartbroken to have lost such a loving, funny and caring husband, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend to so many. Aaron lived, laughed, found true love, fought for what he believed in, always had faith in God and knew what it was like to be loved by so many. He will be greatly missed. Aaron is survived by his wife, Emily Estelle Miles. She was the love of his life! He is also survived by his parents, Doug and Cindy Miles, his sister Amber Miles and partner Sarah Salzman, sister April Miles, niece Kylee Heffner, nephew Caleb Heffner and girlfriend Krislyn Elmore, his grandfathers Grady Layton and wife Della, Earl Miles and wife Elizabeth, his Grandmother Joyce Barr, Aunts Kristee Miles, Gina Miles and Debbie Schmidgall and husband Dave, Uncle Randy Layton, cousins Madison D’Angelo and husband Tim D’Angelo, Duncan Layton, Christopher LaBleu, Jennifer LaBleu, Makayla Hurley and so many wonderful friends! Aaron was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Glenda Layton who we know he is reunited with in Heaven.
