Andrew was born on July 18, 1995, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Paul and Beth McCollum. He graduated from L.D. Bell High School in 2013 and played saxophone in the Blue Raider Marching Band.
Following high school, Andrew enlisted in the Marine Corps, serving from 2014-2018, completing one tour of duty in Okinawa, Japan. He was twice awarded the Naval Achievement Medal for excellence as a Supply Chain Operations Specialist working with the V-22 Osprey aircraft.
Following his graduation from the University of North Texas in 2021, Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. While enrolled at UNT, he was a member of the American Association of Airport Executives. He most recently worked as a Parts Manager for Texas First Rentals.
Andrew participated in a wide range of hobbies and interests including skydiving, hunting, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and building things from scratch. His love for exploration and learning was always accompanied by an “all-in” approach - always wanting to master whatever came next and usually with his loyal companion, Spike, by his side.
Andrew is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert McCollum and Harold Beatty, and his brother Tyler McCollum. Andrew is survived by his parents, Paul & Laurie McCollum, and Beth & Michael Webb, siblings: Emily Carlyle (Zach), nephew Tyler, Brock McKee (Katie), niece Lily Mae, Lydia McKee, Zach Webb and Riley Webb, grandparents: Martha McCollum, Annette Beatty, Art & Laurene Baldwin, Dave & Karen Anderson, and Dennis & Donna Webb, and his beloved girlfriend: Crystal Trinh.
