Anh Ba Phan passed away on August 16, 2026 at the age of 98 after a full life devoted to family.
The eldest of 11 siblings, he was born on May 29, 1928 in Hue, Vietnam to Phụng Bá Phan and Phùng Cận Thị Hà.
Anh Phan was a civil administrator for the South Vietnamese government. In the private sector, he was the Managing Director of Đông Hồ Elementary and High School. Following the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, he and his family left Vietnam and settled in the United States.
He spent his retirement years in Southlake, Texas. An avid reader, he also enjoyed visiting family, watching sports and gardening. He will be remembered for his forceful nature, strength of will and dynamic personality.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed by those who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, wife and several siblings, Anh Ba Phan is survived by his loving children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and large extended family.
The Visitation will be held from 10AM-11AM on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 11AM-12PM on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home with committal service to follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
