We love and miss you Antonio, another year has passed! ❤️  Your legacy carries on!

Antonio loved his family deeply and he and Mandy were inseparable. After being together for 16 years, they still acted like they were on their honeymoon. He was an amazing dad to Ayden and Alexa, and he was so proud of them. He did not ask for much. Little things made his days special: listening to Mexican music by the fire pit with Mandy by his side, watching a soccer game with his best friends, or simply just having a beer with the guys. Little things in his everyday life made him happy, but he was anything but little. He was the one who came up with a solution if our oven broke or we needed a vent to be fixed. We didn’t have to ask, he just offered to help and showed up the next morning with his crew. There was something so special about him. He made everyone around him feel good. He was our DJ on the beach, in our backyards, and on his boat. He knew everyone’s favorite song. He always played “Jolene” and “Daddy Cool” for me. He loved cooking; my personal favorite was his 7-meat dish. We always compared our Mexican and Hungarian roots and he taught me how beautiful his culture really is. He loved dancing to Mexican music, somehow we always ended up dancing at each party or get togethers. Kids loved to follow him and copy his dance moves.  When I think of soccer, I think of Antonio. He taught everything he knew to my son and to the boys in the past 5-6 years. He developed them to not only be successful players but decent human beings and amazing athletes. He had a special way with them and tremendous patience even when those boys wouldn’t listen.  He treated each of them as his own and became a second dad to many of them. He will always be with them on the soccer field and in their hearts throughout every path they take in life. I will always remember him walking into our house with a big smile and carrying a case of beer. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you, until we meet again!

When I first met Antonio around 9 years ago at our boy's soccer practice, I never dreamed how close we would become and how important he would be in my, and my family's lives. To know Antonio was to love him, He had a magic about him. Antonio's character was kind of addictive, once you were lucky enough to get to know him, You wanted to be around him more! There was nothing that he couldn't do, or figure out. Whenever Antonio showed up you just knew that everything was going to be good. He was the guy that shows up on the white horse and saves the day! He worked hard and played hard. He lived life to the fullest and could turn any bad situation into something positive. He loved his wife Mandy and children Alexa, and Ayden like no other. He set the example for the rest of us, as a husband and father. Antonio loved the beautiful game of soccer, He started playing as a small boy in his home of Mexico and eventually signed his first contract with a professional club when he was 12 years old. His soccer career ended early due to an injury, but that couldn't stop his love for the game. He coached all of our boys for several years, and through his relentless determination and dedication, turned both of his teams into skilled competitors on the national level. He loved those boys like his own and they knew it. If I could pinpoint one particular attribute that amazed me the most about Antonio, it would be his effect on people, He made us all better! His greatest talent was bringing out the best in everyone around him. My heartfelt condolences to Mandy, Alexa, Ayden, the Moreno's, and the Karnes. We will miss you dearly my friend, until we meet again.

My dear friend! I will miss your smile and silly jokes!  You were always there to save the day! When our hot water tank burst, you were there early Sunday morning to help us clean and fix the damages.  I loved seeing you tease Kasen (Kasito, your nickname for him). He misses you terribly and hopes you found our pup, Miller, in heaven.  I will miss our ski trips, beach trips, spending holidays together, Sunday dinners reminiscing over the weekends’ soccer games, and watching our spouses act crazy! Mikey is going to miss his buddy. You truly were one of his best friends!  I loved the way you loved your family.  You and Mandy had a one of a kind love. I promise, Mike and I will always be here for her and the kids. Heaven gained an amazing soul. It was a true honor to know you, Antonio.  It’s definitely not goodbye my friend, but see you later.

It's impossible to boil down to one favorite memory of Antonio, because in my mind it would diminish all the other great memories. My friendship with Antonio, the places we went, the things we experienced together, is a flat stack rank of some of the greatest times of my life. He was a shining light of happiness, positivity, and kindness, and is now a shining light of faith, belief, and trust that we will see him again. 

Rest in His arms, Antonio. May God comfort his family, friends and loved ones. 🙏🏽

When I think about Antonio, the two things that come to mind first are his absolute love of kids of all ages and his smile. He was truly one of the best guys I’ve ever met! May he Rest In Peace and his family be comforted by the many wonderful memories they have of him.

Nos sentimos afortunados de pertenecer a fever por Casi 2 años ,con fever a sido una de las experiencias más bonitas que nos a pasado en la vida 🙏🏼Nuestra segunda familia , así nos hemos centido en fever family ,aprendimos que la umildad es lo más importante ,no importa la raza religión ,idioma ni clases sociales recuerdo que cuando nos reuníamos coach Antonio le marcaba o un mensaje a mi esposo para ver si ya íbamos en camino como decía el wey ya vienes ?vivimos momentos felices viajamos algunos estados y nuestro viaje favorito fue Colorado y  que puedo desir de su esposa La guerita mandy  una persona tan linda y Umilde  eso los hace  únicos  ,los queremos familia fever forever 😢🙏🏼💔gracias por su cariño y que dios tenga en su reino a coach Antonio y ayude a su Familia a seguir luchando sin el 😢🙏🏼Lo nabos a extrañar 💔

Antonio told me on many occasions when we were working that he had so much he had to do to secure the future for his wife and kids. He never gave it a second thought. He would work as hard as he needed to make it happen and he did every day faithfully! No one could out work Antonio Moreno! God rest his soul!!

Very sorry to hear about this loss. Coach Moreno was a passionate coach and worked hard to train the children.  May he rest in peace and, may family get the strength to bear this loss.

Antonio y yo compartimos recuerdos desde niños pero este recuerdo confirma lo que le gustaba a Antonio, compartir su alberca!!! Yo viaje a la escuela para bomberos en TEEX en el año 2015, cuando el se entero me comento que pasaria por mi a College Station Tx. ☺️ No le creia por que estaba a 2 horas de su casa pero hizo el viaje para ir por mi… en total manejo 8 horas solo por compartir un 4 de Julio conmigo!!!

Esta anecdota me enseña que las distancias son cortas cuando quieres a un amigo, cuando quieres realmente compartir momentos felices y cuando quieres compartir la vida!!!

Te voy a extrañar….y vengo a despedirme de ti desde México, siguiendo ese consejo!!! La distancias son cortas cuando se realmente se quiere y se ama!!!
