

Beth Withered, 69, of Springtown, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2026, after a long battle with FTD. She was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver, friend and now she's an angel. Her smile and presence will be deeply missed.
Beth was born a native Texan on December 9, 1956, in Waxahachie, Texas to Neil & Liz Black. She was raised in Hurst, graduated from L.D. Bell High School, and completed 2 years in nursing school before marrying and raising two children. She spent the better part of 35 years as a dental assistant working at numerous offices where she always greeted patients with her infectious smile, making their day better. Beth loved to take care of others, she retired from work in 2010 only to become a full-time caregiver to her younger brother and then her mother until her passing in 2018. Beth loved the Lord and attended Bible Study religiously, she loved her dogs, especially Katie. She enjoyed traveling, whether on her motorcycle, hiking or tanning on the beach; she just liked to be going.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Neil & Liz Black, and brothers, Joe & Nathan Black. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Ben; a sister, Jean (Ken) Ward; two sons, Cody (Leslie) Phillips of Weatherford and Casey (Karina) Phillips of Godley; four grandchildren, Ashtyn Geeslin, Benjamin Phillips, Harleigh Phillips and Nolan Phillips; numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, June 2; the Funeral Service will begin at 1:30pm on Wednesday June 3, both at Bluebonnet Hills, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to James L. West Center for Dementia.
