Betty passed at the age of 64 after waging a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Graveside Service: 9:30am Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Visitation: 6:00 - 8;00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2017 both services will be at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Betty was born October 30, 1952 to Esther and L.D. Allcock in Fort Worth, Texas. She grew up in the Diamond Hill Jarvis neighborhood with nieces Karen Martin Hernandez and Susan Martin Sowder along with nephew Michael Martin. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ernest ( Buddy ) Lamb, sister Ruth Lamb Martin and husband Michael Ray McGraw. As a youth Betty was a Girl Scout and continued as a Troop Leader, later serving as a Cookie Captain for many years. She was an avid reader and music fan as well as a Cruise aficionado. Betty is survived by life partner Tom Sharp, his father Jerry Sharp, nieces Karen Hernandez and Susan Sowder, and nephews Michael and Rick Martin. She is survived by many great and great great nieces and nephews In lieu of flowers we request donations to be made in Betty's name to the Girl Scouts of America Circle T Council.
