A visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 from 9-11am at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034. A committal will occur following the visitation at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, TX 76034.
Betty was born in July 27, 1928 in Nida, Oklahoma to Robert Hood and Mary (Williams) Hood. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bobby Joe Hood and a sister Edith Mae Mitchell.
Betty lived and worked in West Texas for many years where she worked for Midland County Offices in Midland, Texas and LTV Tubular Services in Odessa, Texas. She retired and relocated to North Richland Hills, Texas.
Betty is survived by one sister Nela Carrol Capps and husband Don of Bandera, Texas; two sons, Richard Sterling Talley of North Richland Hills, Texas and Billy Robb Talley of Wellington, Colorado; two grandchildren, Sierra Lane (Talley) Finkenstadt and husband Jeremy of Wellington, Colorado and Angleo Jarrell Talley of Ponderosa, New Mexico.
