A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday morning June 24, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Bluebonnet Hills Cherry drawing room in Colleyville, Texas.
Billy was born in Michie, Tennessee, and a longtime resident of Bridge City, Texas. He retired from DuPont and served 23 years with the US Navy. He enjoyed his yard work, having a beautiful garden and flowers. Billy was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Darlene Brown, daughter Lisa Brown Shoop and son-in-law David Shoop of Keller, TX, son Craig Brown and daughter-in-law Melissa Brown, of Boerne, TX, granddaughter, Brittany Shoop of Keller, TX and four grandsons Cody Brown, Ryan Brown, Travis Brown of Boerne, TX, Quinn Shoop of Keller, TX, and great-granddaughter, Nevalee Brown.
