

Jack Fowler was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Jack will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of J.G. and Mary Parker. Jack grew up in Red Oak, Texas.
After serving in the Air Force, he married Mary Oler. They were married for 54 years when she passed away in 2006.
Jack worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Jack was blessed with one son, Billy and two daughters, Tina and Terry. Another blessing for Jack was the gift of 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren with one on the way, Brandon, Blake, Kristin, Kasey, Kathryn, Brittney, Kelli, Makenna, Nikki, Ramona, Travis, Maryn, Jack and Jack.
Fortunately, Jack enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Jack worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. For the majority of his professional career, he was in insurance sales and consulting. Jack always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Jack was an Air Force Veteran. His fellow soldiers viewed him as a brother in arms and knew that he was as much a part of their family as their loved ones back home.
Jack enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. Jack loved the outdoors, hunting, the Texas Rangers, and Texas barbecue. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.
Throughout his later years, Jack was an active member of the American Legion Post 626.
Jack’s faith was important to him. He was a longtime member of Birdville Baptist Church.
Jack passed away on September 15, 2016 in Haltom City, texas. Jack is survived by his daughter, Tina Hill; son, Billy Fowler and his wife Shawna; daughter, Terry Fowler; fiancee, Judy Martin; grandchildren, Brandon Hill and his wife Gara, Blake Hill and his wife Kim, Kristin Fowler, Kasey Fowler, and Kathryn Fowler;Brittney McQuesten, Kelli mcQuesten, Makenna McQuesten, and Nikki McQuesten great-grandchildren, Ramona Pittman, Travis Hill, Maryn Hill and Jack Pittman. He was also looking forward to meeting Jack Edward Hill this October. Services were held at Birdville Baptist Church in Haltom City, Texas. Jack was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Simply stated, Jack was an individual who will for all time be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Jack leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Jack Fowler.
