On May 1, 2023, Bobbie Delores Dickinson went to God, her loving husband James “Jim” Dickinson, and her first-born Billy “Bill” Owen Dunn. Leaving her daughters Catherine Burr, Karen Kay Patton, son Clifton Wade Dunn and JoAnn Dunn, Bill’s wife Trine Dunn, seven grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Bobbie was born in Breckenridge, Texas on 1/24/1930. She married James Dickinson on December 16, 1960. Bobbie loved her family which included all of her children’s friends that needed a place to stay in time of need.
After 93 years of a life of giving, known as Bobbie by her friends, “Mom” by her children and “Nanny” by all her grandchildren can now rest in peace. Bobbie will be greatly missed.
A visitation for Bobbie will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas 76034. A funeral will occur at the same location on Thursday, May 11, 2023 starting at 2 p.m. At the conclusion of the service Bobbie will be laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
