Bonnie grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida. She attended Daytona Beach Junior College School of Nursing. Where she graduatedin 1971 with her LVN degree.
Bonnie has worked as a home health and hospice nurse for the past 30 years and various other nursing positions prior to that. Bonnie is survived by her husband Larry Otwell,he is retired from The United States Army, of Euless ,Texas , son Bobby McCartney and wife Erin of Williamsburg, Virginia, grandchildren Alden and Bret McCartney of Williamsburg, Virginia, stepsons Bobby Otwell of Houston, Texas , Danny Brashear and wife Kim of Euless, Texas, Billy Brashear and his wife Val of California and sisters Lisa Smith and family of Hartselle and Madison, Alabama, Mary Land and family of Citrus Springs, Florida and Holly Graves and family of South Daytona, Florida.
Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, nurse and friend to us all and we will miss her dearly.
In lieu of flowers, Bonnie requests any donations be given to Dallas Home Health and Hospice for patients and families who are unable to provide for their loved ones or those who need a smile along their journey ahead.
