Sandy and Doug:  Sad to hear about your loss.  We remember all the good times with Britta and the neighborhood kids with the 4th of July parade, Halloween and other Bass Lake events. Britta was genuinely one of the nicest person we have met and beautiful inside and out. We will miss our sweet neighbor. She was there when Aakash had a go kart accident and immediately rushed him to the ER without any hesitation, that’s the kind of person Britta is. Dear Wert, Ziegler, and Brown Family, 
There are no words to help you with this devastating loss, but I hope all of these beautiful tributes bring some joy to your sadness. I grew up with Britta in Plymouth. We went to elementary and junior high school together. Our summers were filled with endless days of bike rides, laughing, sleepovers, boating on Bass Lake, concerts and so much more.  Britta and I enjoyed a few ski weekends together and an amazing, unforgettable sailing trip to The Lake of the Woods  - no technology, no toilets, all nature, laughs, and pure peace. I was also part of the Old Country Buffet crew with Nicole and Britta. All of the above are core memories from my favorite years and I am so happy that Britta was not just a part of my life, but a part of that time in my life. Her beautiful light will always shine.

Britta’ s contagious smile, soft voice, gentle heart and love for others was evident from the first time I met her.  I will always  treasure the time spent together (our sons playing flag football and our yoga sessions).  I weep for the lunch dates and other times together I didn’t make happen.

Dear Wert, Ziemer and Brown Families,
I am heartbroken over the passing of Britta. Losing someone so beautiful, inside and out, is an unimaginable sorrow. I feel so blessed to have had the privilege of growing up with Britta in Minnesota, and every childhood memory we created together is a treasure I hold dear. As neighbors, schoolmates, and best friends, we shared wonderfully simpler times. We spent countless days riding bikes, shopping, having sleepovers, torturing Sara, and making lasting memories at the family cabin on Belle Lake, with Doug and Sandy spoiling us all. Our first job together was at Old Country Buffet, which was anything but glamorous (actually, it was pretty gross), but even while replenishing the endless dishes of substandard buffet food, we had so much fun since we went through it together. Even as a young girl, Britta was radiantly lovely, and that light never dimmed as she grew into adulthood. She was always so kind, loyal, and fun—the best friend you could ever ask for as a kid. Britta and the Ziemer family were a huge part of my happy childhood, and for that I’ll be forever grateful. I am so blessed that even though Britta moved to Florida during high school, we stayed connected for the following 35+ years through shared vacations, visits, and phone calls, and I feel fortunate to have met and spent time with Mark, Carson, and Lexi, who are a testament to the love she had for her cherished family. Britta’s kindness and warmth touched everyone around her, and we are constantly thinking of all of you during this difficult time. I feel truly blessed to have known Britta and will hold her memory in my heart forever. The Walesch Family is grieving with you, and we send all our love.

Dear Doug and Sandy, My heart aches to read this so so sad news about your daughter. While I never met your daughter, you two, Doug and Sandy , are two of my favorite classmates. I went to college with Mark & Britta and was lucky enough to spend some time with them in the last couple of years; they are memories I will always treasure. Britta is the very definition of grace and beauty and my heart and my prayers go out to everyone who knew and loved her.

Britta and I attended Lake Highland Preparatory School in Orlando together. Class of 1991.  I just found out from another friend this morning.  I am in shock!  To say the least!   I had not seen Britta since 1991.  I remember she was always so sweet and caring!  She was a great friend !  Our class was very small.  Only 47 students.  And she stood out with her personality and kindness!  I live in Dallas.  I did not know she lived in Southlake.  My sincerest condolences go out to her family!  She will be sorely missed!
