Mr. Byron Zirkle

Byron was born July 20, 1931, in Petersburg, Illinois. He met the love of his life, Connie in high school. They were married in Las Vegas in 1952 while Byron was in the USAF. Blessed with 2 children; Cindi in 1956 and Doug, born in 1959.

Byron began his career as an Air Traffic Controller in St Louis, Mo, and moved to the DFW area in 1963. He retired in 1988 and founded BeZee Photography in 1988.

Through the years Byron enjoyed photography, researching extensive family genealogy, and was on the Bedford Historical Foundation and the Tarrant County Historical Commission. He volunteered at DFW Airport and at the Old Bedford School.

Survivors: Daughter; Cynthia Jean (Chuck) Gilmore, Son; Byron Douglas (Lisa) Zirkle. Six grandchildren; Beth Mueller, Lyn (Chris) Gilliam, Rachel (Taylor) Miller, Laura Zirkle (Ryan) McGlynn, Christopher Zirkle, and Caroline Zirkle. Eight great-grandchildren; Kyle McKinney, Avery and Bryce Mueller, Ethan, Caitlyn, and Austin Gilliam, Daisy Claire Zirkle McGlynn, and Jack Douglas Miller. Niece; Marsha Jo Tinsley (Jack) Weddle. Cousin; Mary Marshall Cooper.

A visitation for Byron will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 3 PM also at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034.
