

Carl graduated from the University of Louisville in 1958, where he played baseball and was a member of the varsity athletic team. After graduating, he joined the United States Air Force where he served four years active duty. He continued serving in the United States Air Force Reserves until he retired on August 31st, 1986, as Lieutenant Colonel Carl W Wiese. Carl joined St Regis Paper, in 1966, where he worked for over twenty years. After retiring from St Regis, he formed his own company, Wiese Packaging, in 1988, where he retired in 2007. He moved from Hamilton, Ohio to Colleyville, Texas, where he lived with his wife Linda, to whom he was married for fifty three years. He was a member of Living Word Lutheran Church, in Grapevine, Texas. Carl was a devout Christian, loved the game of golf, and his family pets. He was always interested in how others were doing and sparingly spoke of himself. His humble and kind nature and his love for his family, is how his family and friends remember him.
Carl is survived by his wife Linda Wiese, of Colleyville, his daughter Jackee Floyd, his son Troy Wiese, his stepson Andy Lewis, his stepdaughter Tracy Holloway, and his grandchildren Hope Hager, Jordan Floyd, Hunter Holloway, Hannah Parry, and Jessica Lewis.
A memorial service for the immediate family will be held on July 18th, at Living Word Lutheran Church, in Grapevine, Texas.
