

Tamita was born in 1935 and raised in El Paso. She moved to Euless in 1959. She was very active in St. Michael’s Catholic Church and has been a member since 1973. Tamita was a devoted housewife and mother. She spent many years in volunteer service focusing specifically on the Right to Life movement for over 30 years. She served as a prolife counselor and was involved in several related organizations including: Mother and Unborn Baby Care, St. Michaels Pro Life, NET Right to Life Educational Association, Gabriel’s Angels, and Divine Will. She was loved and will be missed. Tamita is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William E. Pasteur and her son Billy Pasteur. She is survived by her husband of 4 years, Walter Brauer; children, Christy Hamm, Laurie Wall and husband Larry; Bobby Pasteur and wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Richard Hamm and wife Vanessa, Becky Sanders and husband David, Joey Brantley, and Jacob Pasteur; great grandchildren, Audrey, Will, Sara Kate, and Levi Sanders; siblings, Robert Tatum and wife Alicia, Chuck Tatum and wife Ann, and Bobbie Humphrey; step children, David Brauer and wife Kathleen, Kenneth Brauer and wife Andrea, Julie Cope and husband David, Susan Calvery and husband Craig; step grandchildren, Megan, Matthew, David, Amanda, Natalie, and Melanie Brauer.

Carmelita “Tamita” Beulah Pasteur Brauer, age 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
