Carol Fryer, age 82, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, January 20, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Morgan and Margaret Jones. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Sam Fryer; children, Karen (Larry) Smith, Cathy (Bill) Anderson, and Sam (Suzann) Fryer; grandchildren, Jonathan and Stephen Smith, Cristen, Nolan and Luke Anderson, and Stephanie and Sam Fryer, and her sister Jan (Shel) Detrick.
Carol was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Central High School. Later, she attended the University of Tulsa and graduated with a bachelors in Home Economics from the University of Oklahoma. After college she worked at Dowell for six years before she met and married Sam Fryer in 1963. After her marriage, Carol became a caring and beloved wife, mother and friend. Throughout her life she was very active in her church and several bible studies. She was an active member of CHI Omega Sorority and a member of P.E.O International. She was loved and will be missed.
