Carolyn Lawson Hightower, 78, of Hurst Texas passed away suddenly on December 26th 2018.
She will always be remembered as a loving mother, wife, Grammy, friend, and teacher.
Carolyn graduated from Poly High School in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended TCU and Texas Tech University, and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Texas Wesleyan in 1962. Carolyn taught school in the HEB school district for over 35 years. She was an avid reader, loved movies, playing bridge, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandson Graham. Carolyn had a wealth of friends who dearly loved her.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Byron (Buddy) Hightower. She is survived by her son Chance, his wife Holly, and grandson Graham Hightower. She is also survived by her beloved dog Ruby.
Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019, at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville. Funeral services will be held at 10am, Thursday January 3rd and Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Garden.
