Carolyn Grace McMoy

Carolyn Grace McMoy, 89, of Keller, Texas, passed away on June 9, 2026. Born on May 8, 1937, in Elyria, Ohio. Carolyn will be remembered with deep love and enduring affection by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carolyn served with great pride in the United States Air Force, a chapter of her life that remained a meaningful source of honor. It was during her time in service that she met her husband, Donald, with whom she shared 68 years of devoted marriage. She also worked as a beautician, and in the years that followed, she poured herself into the steady, generous work of caregiving, homemaking, and tending to the needs of those she loved. A strong testament to her adaptability and unwavering support for her husband, she relocated with him over 20 times, both nationally and internationally.

A cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Carolyn is survived by her husband, Donald; her son, Johnny (Lacey) McMoy, and his children Nicholas, Zachary, Riley, Brooklyn, and his grandchildren Remy, Scarlet, and Finn; her daughter, Jennifer (TL III) McMoy-Brown, and her children Jaedon, Jaxon, and Elliana; her daughter, Kimberly (Gregory) McMoy Everts, and her children Emmalyn, Haydon, and Coralyn. One of seven siblings she is survived by her brother Johnny Smith and sister Virginia Walker. Carolyn’s family adored her, and the warmth of that bond will remain a lasting comfort.

Carolyn found joy in simple pleasures and shared adventures - playing games, visiting the casino, shopping, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She also loved hand crocheting blankets, creating tangible expressions of care that carried her steady kindness into the lives and homes of others.

Known for never meeting a stranger, Carolyn moved through the world with an open heart and an easy ability to make friends wherever she went. Her generosity was especially evident in her kitchen: an outstanding cook who always made enough for an army, she ensured that no one around her went hungry—family, friends, and even the gardener. Her faith in God was strong and unwavering, and she faithfully instilled those beliefs in her children and family. Alongside her steadfast devotion, she carried a unique sense of humor—expressed in jokes and even the occasional food fight—always genuine, always memorable, and always distinctly her own.

Carolyn Grace McMoy will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Her life was marked by faith, devotion, and a kind-hearted generosity that reached far beyond her home, leaving an imprint of love that will endure in the family and friends who carry her memory forward.

Visitation will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, on June 17, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
