

Carolyn Ann Tucker, of North Richland Hills, TX passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Grapevine, TX. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all that knew and loved her.
Carolyn was born on July 21, 1934 in Port Arthur, TX to Tedroe and Aquila Ford. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1953 and married Jasper Milton Tucker that same year. After she and Mr. Tucker married, Carolyn continued her education and attended Port Arthur Business College.
Over her lifetime she held various positions including secretarial work, bookkeeping, accounting and office management. She was also the assistant manager of an exclusive ladies clothing store, owner and manager of a custom picture framing shop and consultant for interior decorating and design.
Carolyn spent her free time cooking, sewing, doing handcrafts, weaving, reading, and participating in the church choir. Along with traveling with her husband and family.
She was an active member of many organizations including the P.E.O. Sisterhood, a National Women's Social and Philanthropic Organization, where she served as President from 2004 to 2006. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hurst.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jasper Milton Tucker, Jr of North Richland Hills TX and their children, Kimberly Collins and husband Kenneth of Watauga, TX, Leslie Ann Bardo and fiancé Mike Mederos of Bedford, TX. Her grandchildren, Robert Allen Bardo, Il and wife Shelby of Trophy Club, TX, Elisabeth Ann (Bardo) Massad and husband Kelly of Frisco, TX, and four great-grandchildren, Emory Bardo, Cameron Bardo, Taylor Bardo, and Ava Massad.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tedroe Jay Ford (1905-1976) and Ada Aquila (Malone) Ford (1910-1983), and her elder brother, Tedroe Jay Ford, Jr. MD (1928-1980)
A visitation for Carolyn will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home with funeral services at 3:00 PM and interment following the service. Bluebonnet Hills is located at at 5725 Colleyville Boulevard, Colleyville, Texas.
