Charles William Coughenour

Charles William Coughenour, age 74, passed away on July 7, 2026, in Haltom City, Texas. He was born on May 3, 1952, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania, to Mace and Madeline Coughenour. Charles was raised in Connellsville and graduated from Connellsville Area High School in 1970. He married Jacqueline MacLeod in 1987, and the couple had two children. He was a software technician at Hatala Systems, where he worked for more than 20 years.

In his spare time, Charles enjoyed macrame, leather tooling, fishing, and road trips with the family. He also enjoyed spending time at home with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Charles never missed an opportunity to be with his family during their important life moments. His family will always remember him as a kind man who made everyone around him smile.

He leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Jacqueline; his children, Cynthia Thompson and Melissa Coughenour; his grandchildren, Ty Dempsey, Paige Thompson, and Colby Thompson; and his sister, Dorothy Faith, and brothers, Scott Coughenour and Brian Coughenour, who will all miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034, US, on July 16, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034, US, on July 17, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Graveside services will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 COLLEYVILLE BLVD, COLLEYVILLE, TX 76034, US, on July 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
