December 25, 1950 – February 6, 2022
Charles Roberts, age 71, of Mansfield Texas, passed away Sunday February 6, 2022 in his home peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer. Charlie was SUPERMAN! He never once complained about anything all the way until he gained his wings. He was a Vietnam War Veteran and served his country with pride for 20 years. After retiring from the Army he followed with a 22 year retirement from the postal service. Charlie loved his family and protected them through thick and thin, with his determination and dedication he was OUR hero. He never let his family go without anything and was an amazing provider. He loved fishing, gun collecting, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, playing cards, and playing with his grandkids. Charlie is preceded in death by his father Charles Nicholas Roberts Sr., mother Helen Roberts, and brother Luther Roberts. Charlie is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 51 years Vikki Roberts, daughter Jennifer Roberts, son Michael Roberts, and wife Sarah Roberts, daughter Kourtlynn Roberts, two grandsons Austin and Jackson (Jack) Roberts all of Mansfield Texas, and brother James Roberts of White Settlement, Texas. Charlie never knew a stranger and he always knew how to make people smile and make the best out of the any situation. He may no longer be with us physically but he will always be with us in our hearts and minds. His long journey through life has given him many different names and titles, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, or friend if you were blessed enough to have known him.
