

Charlie was born on April 4, 1936 in Pilot Point, Texas. He was the son of Rody and Vera Hickman.
Charlie was raised with one sister, Patsy and one brother, Pete. Charlie was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. He and his siblings shared many life experiences over the years.
Charlie exchanged wedding vows with Barbara Ann. They were married for 59 years.
Charlie worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Charlie was blessed with three sons, Glenn, Stevan, and Terry. Another blessing for Charlie was the gift of nine grandkids and eight great-grandkids, .
Charlie went home to be with the Lord on January 21, 2017 at the age of 80. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara Ann Hickman; three sons, Glenn, Stevan, Terry, and his wife, Kimberly ; daughter, Lisa, and husband Eric Moss. He is also survived by two siblings, Patsy and Pete. He was blessed with nine grandkids and eight great-grandkids.
Services were held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, Texas. Charlie was laid to rest in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
Charlie was an individual who will be remembered by his family and friends as being a caring and giving person, someone who was a vital part of their lives. Charlie leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Charlie Truitt Hickman. He will be greatly missed but life is short compared to eternity.

Service: Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 3:00pm at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Visitation will take place an hour prior to service.
