Clint David Thomason Jr., age 89 of Euless, Texas died on February 21, 2018. He was born in Dyer County, Tennessee on March 29, 1928 to Clint David Thomason Sr. and Lovie Baskins Ray. Preceeded in death by wife of 64 years Mary Wilma Thomason of Irving, Texas. Survived by wife Dolores McGuyrt Thomason of Euless, Texas; sons Glen Thomason and his wife Maggie and Jim Thomason and his wife Lisa; adored grandchildren Chali, Sunni, and Joshua Thomason; Jimmy Thomason, April Hansford, and Amber Tye along with nine great grandchildren.
Clint served 42 years of active, reserve, and inactive reserve in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Texas Retired Enlisted Association. He was assigned to the USS Rushmore whereby he attended several USS Rushmore reunions. Long time employee of Parke-Davis Co. and International Airline Passengers Association. Loved coaching Little League baseball and watching Texas Rangers ball games. A faithful servant to the Lord and every Baptist church he attended. He was charter member of Irving Baptist Fellowship. Clint was the person everyone called upon to get the job done. PaPa will be missed by many.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel in Colleyville, TX followed by a committal service at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX at 12:30 PM.
