

Connie was born on September 14, 1950. She graduated from Richland High School in 1968, where she was captain of the drill team and a standout in musical theater. Connie went on to study at Texas Wesleyan University and later earned her degree from Texas A&M Commerce. In 1969, she toured the country with the Christian singing group New Hope Singers, after which she began a 41-year career with American Airlines.
Connie accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized at a young age. She was a devoted member of North Richland Hills Baptist Church, where she often served as a choir soloist. She and Roger Stilwell shared 43 years of marriage.
Connie is survived by her husband, Roger Stilwell; her siblings, Sherill (Phil) Duren, Patty Crow, and Rick (Nan) Baker; brothers-in-law Lester (Loretta) Stilwell and Wayne Stilwell; and her nieces and nephews, Tamara (Jason) Gilley, Aiden, Drew, Amanda (Joe) Horvath, Warren, Baker, Iris, Ramona Duren, Rose, Riley Smith, Sabrina Duren, Jones, June, Chris (Diane) Parham, Ryan, Luke, Matt (Robyn) Parham, Jenny (AJ) Satarino, Carson, Tennyson, Emerson, Lindsay (Phillip) Cadenhead, Alex, Ashton, Leslie (Matt) Garrett; Lauren (Chris) Tracey, Ryan and Hunter.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her great-nephew, Grayson Satarino.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 6p-8pm.
A funeral will be held for Connie on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 1:30 pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, Texas, 76034.
