The only time I ever play baseball and never wanted to play again. Not enough action for me!

I just found out about Cooper’s passing today. I’m completely shocked and devastated. We touched base off/on, but it’s been a while. I can’t begin to imagine the profound pain, sadness and grief you all must be feeling. He was truly a great person! I will always feel blessed that he came into my life in Mr. Sayen’s third grade class at Clara Love. I will miss him always!! Much love to you all….Nate

My dear friend Cooper “Coop” as I called him. I’m so saddened to hear about this, my heart hurts for all family and friends that he has. I was unaware of this happening as the talk about it was really low because of the great mourning everyone was going through, and I wasn’t around much or in his current class. Today I heard the news, I am broken but reassured through Christ. Cooper has been my good buddy in school the last year in his time aspiring to be an AMT.  He taught me a lot about motors and we always were laughing about something. Great guy, good spirit, great friend and classmate. I’m sorry, I will forever remember him only as the great person he is and the memories we had as classmates.

Todd, I am so very sorry for this tragic and sudden loss.

I enjoy talking with you about "our boys". I enjoy your updates on what Cooper and Jackson are up to, since I also have boys (22 and almost 21).  When you speak of them, it is clear to see the pride and joy they have brought you.

I can't even imagine how hard it was to say goodbye to your beloved Cooper. You and your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers. If there's anything you need, please let me know.

Sending prayers to all, cooper was a smart, friendly, funny friend i'm glad i got to meet him here at school and may he rest in peace.

Cooper was one of those rare people that have nothing but kindness and empathy to give and getting to know him over the better part of a year at school nothing became more apparent. I was blessed to have him sitting next to me in all the classes we had together we talked nonstop about cars, planes, and everything else you could drive. I’ll miss having him as my project partner and as a great friend.

I always show up early to school but Cooper would already be there so we had a-lot of talks before class.  If I ever had a question about school work I knew I could ask him, he was very intelligent for his age and one of the kindest guys I know. Rest in peace Cooper, you live on through our memories.

Cooper was a much welcomed addition to our cohort this past fall. We will all miss him.

Cooper was an amazing classmate. He was super fast at everything we did, and super accurate too. He helped me in landing gear all the time, when I was too stubborn to accept help. I would be reading the directions and he would have already finished the project. I’m very grateful that I got to be there for his family today and very grateful to have known him.

Cooper was an  engaging, curious, helpful, athletic, adventurous friend with a great sense of humor.   I will miss him.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Brake,
I had the pleasure of having multiple classes with Cooper at Tarrant County College A&P Program. I even had the opportunity to drive him home in my 1967 truck one afternoon. While I didn’t get to know cooper for an extremely long time, he was one of my best friends I’ve come to know in my life. We studied, joked, and had fun together with multiple projects at school. He always had a smile on his face, and he looked forward every day. He was dedicated, helpful, and extremely kind. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
