

Cory Don Miller, Jr. was known as many things to many people. He was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Cory will be remembered as a very exceptional person.
He was the son of Cheryl Buccola and Don Miller. Cory grew up in Amarillo, Texas.
Cory was raised with one sister, Jan and one brother, James. Cory was usually involved in all sorts of activities with his siblings. They shared many life experiences over the years.
A typical teenager, Cory had a fairly happy high school experience, making that critical transition from adolescence to adulthood. He enjoyed some classes more than others, having favorite subjects and teachers.
Cory enjoyed his college years, which may have been a challenge with all of the academics, responsibilities, and the sudden freedom that accompanied them, but Cory was able to manage the balancing act. He earned his Associate Degree in Radiology from Amarillo College.
Empathic and loyal, Cory was committed to making his new family happy.
Cory worked hard to be a good father to his children and he did his best to fulfill their needs. Cory was blessed with two sons, Braden and Carter.
Fortunately, Cory enjoyed what he did for a living. Showing a strong work ethic, Cory worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career. Cory worked for Texas Health Resources HEB in Bedford, Texas, for fourteen years as an MRI Technologist and as Radiology Manager for the last two years. Cory always sought to be a team player, doing what was necessary in order to get the job done.
Cory was an active member of the Association for Medical Imaging Management.
Cory’s faith was important to him. He was a member White's Chapel Methodist Church.
Cory passed away on May 26, 2016 in Grapevine, Texas. He is survived by Cory is survived by his mother Cheryl Hanna Buccola and husband Charles of Amarillo, Texas; his father Courtney Don Miller, Sr. and wife Lin of Westcliffe, Colorado; mother and father-in-law Monty and Cecile McElroy of Amarillo, Texas; his sister Jan Mechelle Miller and Carey of Washougal, Washington; his brother James Jason Miller of Amarillo, Texas; grandparents Dink and Yetive Miller of Memphis, Texas; brother-in-law Jeremy and Maria McElroy of Waco, Texas; sister-in-law Melanie and Tim Cram of Keller, Texas; step-sister Christie and Jason Jones of Amarillo, Texas; and nieces and nephews Calin Hutchens, Nick McElroy and wife Courtney, Alex McElroy, Emma Miller, Landon Miller, Layla Jones, Adrienne Cram, Nick Cram, Stephen Grubbs, and Christopher Grubbs. Services were held at White's Chapel Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas. Cory was laid to rest in the Garden of Legacy Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas.
The lives of those who knew Cory were enriched by his indomitable spirit, quick wit and sense of humor, warm and caring heart and zest for life. He was an inspiration for us all and we will miss him dreadfully. Everyone whose life he touched will always remember Cory Don Miller, Jr.

Wednesday, May 26th, 2016 we lost a most remarkable man. The lives of those who knew Cory were enriched by his indomitable spirit, quick wit and sense of humor, warm and caring heart and zest for life. He was an inspiration for us all and we will miss him dreadfully.
Cory was born to Cheryl Buccola and Don Miller on July 12th, 1975 in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Randall High School in Amarillo, Texas and acquired an Associate Degree in Radiology from Amarillo College. He worked for Texas Health Resources HEB in Bedford, Texas, for fourteen years as an MRI Technologist and as Radiology Manager for the last two years.
He was a member of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church and the AHRA—the Association for Medical Imaging Management.
Cory met Danielle Renee McElroy while going to school in Amarillo and they married May 24, 1997. They moved to the Fort Worth area and eventually Keller where they have been raising their two boys Braden Scott, 13, and Carter Reece, 8.
Cory is survived by his mother Cheryl Hanna Buccola and husband Charles of Amarillo, Texas; his father Courtney Don Miller, Sr. and wife Lin of Westcliffe, Colorado; mother and father-in-law Monty and Cecile McElroy of Amarillo, Texas; his sister Jan Mechelle Miller and Carey of Washougal, Washington; his brother James Jason Miller of Amarillo, Texas; grandparents Dink and Yetive Miller of Memphis, Texas; brother-in-law Jeremy and Maria McElroy of Waco, Texas; sister-in-law Melanie and Tim Cram of Keller, Texas; step-sister Christie and Jason Jones of Amarillo, Texas; and nieces and nephews Calin Hutchens, Nick McElroy and wife Courtney, Alex McElroy, Emma Miller, Landon Miller, Layla Jones, Adrienne Cram, Nick Cram, Stephen Grubbs, and Christopher Grubbs. Visitation will be held on May 29th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel in Colleyville.There will be a celebration of life service on May 31st at 4:00 pm at Whites Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas. Donations can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
