Curtis Siler Burns

She worked as a telephone operator after she graduated from high school for many years.

She married Edward Hoover Burns on August 24, 1957 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She was an Air Force wife so she traveled all over the world and saw and experienced many amazing things. She was a member of Colleyville Methodist Church and worked as the church historian and a member of the women's group for many years.

She is survived by children; Bryan Curtis, Suzanne Renea Burns and Vicky Lisa Hutson and grandchildren; Michael Coleman and Edward Roland Hutson great grandchildren; Isabella and Olivia Hutson, Catlin Mayberry and Aiden Coleman Hutson and great great grandchildren Colton and Carsyn Mayberry.

She passed away at home on October 29, 2025.

A visitation for Curtis will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 9:30 AM at Colleyville Methodist Church, 1000 Church Street, Colleyville, TX 76034. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM, 1000 Church Street, Colleyville, TX 76034. An interment will occur Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, 5725 Colleyville Blvd., Colleyville, TX 76034.
