Daisy Graves, of Watauga, Texas, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas. She will always be remembered as a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend to all who knew and loved her. She was born on December 7, 1948, in Ponce, Puerto Rico to Antonio Martinez and Elisa Morales-Sanchez.
Daisy Graves was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Brooklyn, New York when she was nine years old. As one of four siblings, she forged her own path by joining the United States Army after high school. Daisy served for three years in the medical corps before getting married to Marvin Graves on November 1, 1969. Daisy later continued her love of serving others by becoming a Respiratory Therapist. She retired after 35 years in the medical field, and then went on to become the best grandmother a child could ever ask for. Family was very important to her which means she was always celebrating an event or milestone in someone’s’ life. Daisy loved to travel and experience new things; she was an avid reader and collector of beautiful dolls. There are not enough words to sum up the beautiful life she lived, but her love and legacy will live on in all the lives she touched over her 72 years on earth.
