He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and mentor or all. Dale was born on august 15, 1935 in Little River, Kansas to Robert and Alice Hodgson.
Dale is survived by his wife Patricia Sue Hodgson of the home, sister, Sondra Hodgson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, sons Ruehlen Ray and wife Martha of Springtown, Texas, Matthew McCallum of Los Angeles, California, Timothy McCallum of Leucadia, California, daughters Carrie McCallum Mazhar and husband Tony of Keller, Texas, Suehzen Hodgson Mosley and husband Chris of Chickasha, Oklahoma. Grandchildren, Audra Hodgson, Kyle Mosley, Cooper Mosley and wife Mattilyn, Cameron, Julian, Alaina and Jardin Mazhar. Nieces, Mary Alice Hodgson Chaffin and Husband Nathan, Marla Doherty and husband John, Roberta Hodgson. Nephew, Ned Hodgson and great nephews Owen Chaffin and Brecken Hodgson.
Dale was proceeded in death by his brother and sister in law, Bob and Elaine Hodgson, son Shannon Michael McCallum and daughter Juehle Anita Hodgson.
Dale moved from Little River, Kansas to Manhattan, Kansas graduating High School from Manhattan, Kansas and later Kansas State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1959.
Dale was a member of many professional organizations serving as president of IPATA, TVMA and ABKA. He was former president of the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce and also served on the Colleyville City Council with honor as 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army. Dale enjoyed woodworking, playing dominos, 42 and serving others through his outreach with organizations such as The Carpenters Touch, Bread for a Hungry World, Marriage Matters and many ministries at The Hills Church in North Richland Hills.
A public visitation will be held at the Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home at 5725 Colleyville Blvd, Colleyville, Texas 76034 on Friday March 26, 2021 at 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Hills Church at 6300 NE Loop 820, North Richland Hills, Texas 76180 on Saturday March 27, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
Burial will follow at The Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, Texas on Saturday March 27, 2021 at 4:30 pm.
